I may not love the way you want me to
But nevertheless, I do love you.
I may not love in the manner that love is written about
But, I love you in my very own way.

I may not meet up to your expectations
I may be nowhere near perfect.
I may not reach out when you want me to
But, I will always love you with all the reasons of my heart.

I may not be there by your side when you need me
I may be too far away to walk with you.
I may even walk away from you
But, I am just a thought away.

I may not have the courage to express myself
I may not be brave enough to ask the questions that linger in my mind
I may not utter the words that reside in my eyes
But, all the same, you are always there in my heart.

I may not be able to stand besides you
But every prayer is joined with yours.
I may feel sad and blue at times
But love gives me a reason to live.

I may not be able to outstretch my hand towards you
I may not have the strength to wave farewell.
I may not be able to communicate in a preferred mode
But, I can still commune in the same way that you do.

I may not be able to reveal my tears
I may not be able to share my smile.
I may silently hide my pain
But in spite of all, my love will grow.

A classic love may not be an extraordinary love
It is a simple love at times difficult to comprehend.
It thrives on the memories of prime moments
Until hearts meet again in their own special way!
