I believe that Israel will be involved in a regional war by 2016. Why?

Well, in another article on this site, I have made a strong case for the resurrection and rapture in 2023, which will begin the 7-year Tribulation period, ending with the Second Coming of Christ in 2030. I believe that Joseph's seven "lean years" in Egypt were prophetic of these seven Tribulation years. Remember that Egypt is often one of the figures used for Jerusalem and Israel in the Bible. Revelation 11:8 clearly says this: "And their dead bodies [the two witnesses, Moses and Elijah] will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified."

Before Joseph's seven "lean years" in Egypt, were seven "fat years," which I also believe are prophetic of the seven years, beginning in 2016, before the Tribulation period. I believe that they will be years of peace and prosperity for Israel, after Israel is involved in a big regional war. Things certainly seem to be shaping up for this. Remember that Joseph stored food for the Egyptians and that during the Tribulation period, the False Prophet, perhaps the Prime Minister of Israel at the time, or the High Priest at the time, will dictate "that no one should be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark [of the beast, the Antichrist], either the name of the beast or the number of his name (Revelation 13:17)."

(By the way, the number of the Antichrist, 666 (Revelation 13:18), I believe is simply a series: 6, 60, 600. What is the next number in the series? 6000, to prophesy that the Antichrist will be on the scene at the end of 6000 years of human history, which ends in 2030.)

So, during the Tribulation period, the False Prophet is going to make it impossible for Israelis who come to believe in Jesus and who will not receive the mark of the Antichrist (probably an implanted microchip) to buy food, clothing or anything. Therefore, if they are going to be able to eat, it is going to be necessary for Christians to stockpile food for them around Israel. I believe that we will see this begin to happen by 2016. Perhaps also prophetic of this was Paul's collection of money from the Gentile churches for the poor saints of Jerusalem.

It remains to be seen who will take up this cause. May the Lord provide for the future saints of Israel.

ADDENDUM 11/16/2016

As God's year essentially runs from April through March, with Passover being in the first month, I am going to give myself another 3 months leeway on this prediction. What will be the catalyst for this war? It could be any number of things: e.g., bombing of Iran, or a conflict on the Golan Heights or on Israel's northern border with Lebanon, or another Palestinian intifada. If I am wrong, it won't be the first time.
