HOW REVELATION WORKS 4
We have been exploring the tools that convert revelation to the success we desire in our lives. We need to accept the Word of God as our ultimate reality. We need to see ourselves and our circumstances through the eyes of Heaven. We need to fortify our faith by declaring what God says about us and our circumstances. However, if we do all these without taking action, we will rob ourselves of the tremendous blessings the power of revelation offers us.
A renowned speaker once said “No matter how great your dream is, you must eventually wake up.” This is because revelation without corresponding action leads to frustration. A poor man will languish in poverty if he fails to work on his million naira idea. The Scriptures implore us to take action. Habakkuk 2:2 commands us “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that read it.” The next verse assures us that the vision will see the light of reality.
The world only moves for the man that moves. Things work when we work. Some people are paralysed by fear. Know that as long as God has given you a dream, there is 100% assurance that He will deliver on His Word. However, He needs to work through you. Conquer fear by taking action. Others procrastinate. Our world operates by the principle of timing. When a student leaves his hostel by 12pm to write an exam slated for 8am, he delays the celebration of graduating. When we delay action, we delay our miracles.
Do something. As you step out, Jesus will be there to make everything work together for your good.
