Lord, why do I feel alone
Although I'm surrounded by people
Why do I feel unloved
When there are many who love me
Why do I feel worthless
When in your eyes I have value
Why do I try to succeed
Yet most times I feel like I will fail
Why am I angry still
At a time in my life I should be happy
Why can't I trust
Those who have been trustworthy
Why can't I connect with others
They way a person should
Why can't I seem to get past my past
When it doesnt do me any good.
