Sent near and far
Your gift different from any other
Wooden
Clothed in mocked scarlet with ribbons of rope
A bow, carefully amde of thorns
Crimson red, dripping
Expressions of love, not on paper
Rather pierced, deeply
in flesh
Gifts require only one of two things
Displayed or Exchanged
your gift
The greatest of all
Waiting to be opened
