He that descended the same that ascended,
Above the Heavens for all to be befriended;
Tasking some as prophets or as apostles,
Some to be pastors or teachers in chapels;
Purifying of the saints or work in ministry,
Edify the body of Christ in life eternity;
As believers in Christ we have a job to do,
Spreading the Word completely through;
For God has tasked me in being a poet,
My poems reach to as many that inhabit;
On this galactic island that we call earth,
Giving every one a chance at new rebirth;
Another maybe inclined for singing song,
Able to praise the Lord all the day long;
Maybe children can use your guidance,
To teach and aid through adolescence;
No matter what happens as your chore,
God has the key that opens your door;
Until the unity of faith has come to all,
Knowledge of our Savior shall befall.
