THANKS TO CALVARY

If I should tell you how much I love Jesus,
It could not be for any good in me,
But it's all because of God's Amazing Grace,
And because the Lord Jesus Christ,
Died for me at Calvary.

CHORUS:
Thanks to Calvary, Where my Savior died to set us free,
Shed His Life's Blood for you and me,
That's why this moment is ours.

With Christ I've been to a lot of special places,
And I've met a lot of beautiful people there,
But you know the thing that really made it special,
We had those moments to share, Thanks to Calvary.

CHORUS

I could not tell of every time I've brought the message,
Led the singing, took prayer request or shared my testimony,
But I can say with utmost confidence,
I did not talk about me, I shared the Christ of Calvary.

I don’t always understand the way God leads me,
But I know with confidence that He knows Best,
And I know without a doubt that God will lead me,
To be where He wants me to be, “Thanks To Calvaryâ€!

Life’s hardest lessons are not always learned in classrooms,
They don’t always come by getting a degree,
But sometimes thru much prayer and agony,
You find you have to let go and let the Christ of Calvary!

With hope and joy I'm looking forward to tomorrows,
I'm longing to see what Jesus has for me,
For together we'll face nothing we can't handle,
And I know that when it's all thru, I'll still cling to Calvary.

CHORUS

But you know the thing that really makes it special,
This life's not all there's going to be,
For the Bible says that I will spend forever,
With the one who died for me, Thanks to Calvary.

CHORUS

Dear friends, I feel that I must ask this question,
Just where will you spend Eternity?
For I've an invitation for you to be at home with God,
And the Bible says all it takes is faith in the Christ of Calvary.
