FORGIVEN

As I’ve been forgiven,
Help me to forgive,
Not just this once,
But each day that I live.

Not just this offence,
But each little wrong,
Forgiving as You did,
Help me to be strong.

Sometimes I don’t want to
And it’s not easy to do,
But Lord I don’t want anything,
To come between me and You.

Lord it’s easier said,
Than easier done,
So help me to love
And forgive like Your Son.

So that all who have wronged me,
And caused me some strife,
Might someday in Heaven,
Along with me have eternal life.
