Our God is indeed greater, He's more powerful than any other. We must be proud to be called sons and daughters of the almighty.

I have been listening to Chris Tomlin's song God of this city; challenging indeed. In the song he reiterates than there indeed is none other like our God who is the Father in heaven. The almighty 'who needs no runway' as one local pastor puts it across.

We should be proud of Him who when He perceived the good in us, went away and sold all He had and bought us for a price we will not be able to repay with all the gold of this earth. He sent His Son to heal us and benefit us. In our infirmities His son came and showed us love. Us who were not called His people, are now called by His name, sons and daughters of God.

So now we are able to stand; when asked who our Father is, we say God who is in heaven through the redeeming acts of His faithful Son and our Lord Jesus Christ. And this I say in Jesus Christ's mighty name, Amen!
