One challenge we have in life as Christians pertains to how to believe the works of God. In a world where deception must come before Christ comes for to take us. However, let me encourage you today.

I have always realised that my greatest strength is in telling the truth and not only that, but telling it to the right hearers, otherwise I will be despised. So what i am about to say, I say it out to the saints; my beloved brothers and sisters.

Matthew 24:24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Note, that underlined part, It is impossible that we be deceived; Powerful! I have realised that when you are not elected, you fail to comprehend the power of God that is in words and think that you must behold the works. Words of God do not find meaning in one's heart unless he is elected by God. Likewise, words of the world find no place in the heart of a saint, one elected of God.

I must say this, It is not possible that the deceivers of this world will deceive us who are elected. This is because God wants us to be in heaven, and unless He prevents our being deceived, we become like the rest, for it is our earthly nature to go for the seen than the unseen. But with God, oh no, we have power to evade deception, however deceitful!

I know that they say:
1 Corinthians 4:20
For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
Yet note, the power of God is demonstrated by the speaking of word into existence. Such that things seen are made of the word not seen. Since the creation of the world, we have seen things being made from spoken word. Thus, unless the power seen emanates from God's word, the power remains powerless. No man, therefore, may claim that he has power but lacks the word of God.

So, because of the quality that we are as the elect, it always is the case that whatever false demonstartion of power directed towards us passes us. It will not find its place in us because every power seen must align with some word of God inside of us. In us is a place where the precious word of God is hidden to the purifying of the whole body. We are thus confident in His security.
