Jonah
1. Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,

2. Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness has come up before me.

I have to tell you i'm feeling shivers; it's hot out here but i am shivering. I would say like Jonah I ran away from a wickedness, because i was afraid of defiling God's temple. I asked if I could be forgiven because the wickedness was overwhelming. I thought, my Lord, that if I stick around, I would be harmed by this type of work.

So I come to you right now, willing to find some release, help me achieve your will because I too will to do good in your sight. I know that your joy is my strength so i seek it, i seek your joy that everything that accrues to me may be made manifest.

I ask this not only for myself, but even for my friends in Christ who are facing the same challenge in executing your work, strengthen us God. Give us all needful power that we may prosper, in Jesus Christ's name, Amen!
