Writer's Block

Routines have fallen away
So are the words I long to say
The message lost in my distraction
Leading to my inaction

Wake up soul o' mine
let in the Lord, let it shine
Write for His glory once again
the time is now, let it begin

Use me Lord as you have before
Write your words through me once more
Let me be the pen for You
Again let me write what is true

Inspire me, Father, to write more
Your World of You I implore
Wake O’ heart and write again
Wicked flesh pick up the pen

Write little, write lots
Write of the Scriptures taught
Quiet O’ soul and listen
Follow once more the Great Commision
