God's grace has been so good to me,
Through all my days and years,
Through times of lack and times of want,
Through all my deepest fears.

Through times of illness and distress,
Through doubts and grief and pain.
Through times of hanging on to hope,
Through times of stress and strain.

As I grow older I can see,
As hard as life has been,
God's grace has always been with me,
Inspite of all my sin.

God's grace, it never leaves my side,
No matter come what may,
It guides, protects and sees me through,
In each and every day.

I am so thankful for God's grace,
When all is said and done.
Because there have been many days,
When life has not been fun.

It's been so hard and tough at times,
My needs, His grace provides,
I've had to call upon His name,
His arms are open wide.

In times of unemployment and
the need fo find a job,
The family's had to go without,
It's made me want to sob.

And when I've had to ask for help,
to meet some pressing need,
His grace has been there by my side,
I've let it take the lead.

In marriage, family, friends and work,
At times life has been tough,
But through God's love and by His grace,
It hasn't been as rough.

And at the age of sixty-two,
When I look back on life,
I see how God's long arms of grace,
Have eased my load of strife.

And by His grace my life's been spared
In many, many ways.
So I might live to see Him work,
In all my years and days.

So God, I thank you for your grace,
In all that I've been through,
I'll seek your word and pray each day,
In all I say and do.

Good stuff John. Thank you for sticking it out with the Lord! You've thrown your lot in with Him and staying with it no matter. God bless you! Life isn't always smooth sailing.....

Act 14:22 "strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.

The song Through it All says a lot about our Lord's faithfulness to us!

"I've had many tears and sorrows,
I've had questions for tomorrow,
There've been times I didn't know right from wrong:
But in every situation God gave blessed consolation
That my trials come to only make me strong.

Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to trust in Jesus,
I've learned to trust in God;
Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to depend upon His Word.

I've been to lots of places,
And I've seen a lot of faces,
There've been times I felt so all alone;
But in my lonely hours,
Yes, those precious lonely hours,
Jesus let me know that I was His own.

Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to trust in Jesus,
I've learned to trust in God;
Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to depend upon His Word.

I thank God for the mountains,
And I thank Him for the valleys,
I thank Him for the storms
He brought me through;
For if I'd never had a problem
I wouldn't know that He could solve them,
I'd never know what faith in God could do.

Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to trust in Jesus,
I've learned to trust in God;
Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to depend upon His Word."
