You Never Left Me

I walked away from You
to live my own life.
You waited for me
to come back to You.

You Never Left Me

I thought I was having fun,
but I realized I really wasn't.
It was just rebellion and sin.
I was afraid You wouldn't
take me back,
but You did!

You Never Left Me

You softly said "Ye of little faith,"
and I walked back into Your loving arms.
I was sorry I walked away
after all You had done for me.
You forgave me and blotted
out my sins so that You would
not remember those sins again.

You Never Left Me

God, You loved me so much, that
You sent Your only begotten Son, Jesus,
to save me from my sins.
I will not perish,
but have everlasting life with You.

Jesus also died for you.
All you need to do is accept Him in your life
and you will be saved and forgiven of your sins, too.
