I close my eyes
to see His Face.
So lost within His warm embrace.
And all the world just melts away,
this time, this place, this blessed day.

You come the times I need you most.
Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
And none can sway my Love for You,
nor height, nor depth, nor searing through,
the trials of life and death , so few
compared to all You gave.

And Christmas,
when my King came down.
Oh Holy night, without a sound.
Such precious Grace where none is found,
a lowly manger stall,
to die and bear it all.

You move my heart to blessed tears.
My soul unworthy through the years,
and yet You whisper ,’Here I am’.
Gentle Shepherd.
Wayward lamb.
And all that I so long to feel,
poured out, unending as I kneel
before the Cross, so started when,
such Love was born in Bethlehem.
