Measure your Maturity
We all must work towards growing up into the fullness of love that was presented to us, drenched in mercy and grace by the life style that Christ illuminated, which was a walk of holy living that comes from the everlasting love of the Father. No law could set you free just by obeying the knowledge of that law, but by entering through Christ crucifixion, and by being raised again not you but Christ in you, through his resurrection, you are brought to a place of obedience through the love of Christ not the knowledge of the law. The process of freedom has now begun to take place. Like a baby taking its first few breaths after being confined and restricted in the mothers womb. Moving in freedom for the first time unrestricted, unrefined but surely on its way. In the same way the first breaths of freedom now oxygenate your resurrected body.
Freedom only comes from the daily process of unveiling the meat that lies in Christ mercy and grace. Once we are unchained by the knowledge that comes from piercing the heart with the truth submerged in the living water of the word, we begin the process of maturity, which continues unveiling the freedom that dwells in depths at the cross.
The word says there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Those, being the ones entering his crucifixion, and being raised in him through his resurrection. Condemnation is put to death, as is the law. Through this death of law and condemnation, life springs forth taking the shape of conviction backed up by the strength of the cross. When conviction is answered with true repentance through confession, this leads to freedom. The love of Christ is freedom unveiled. Servant-hood is the product of unveiled freedom which exists in a true spirit-filled Christian. When one wants to take hold to the fork of the spirit and move from the bottle to the heart of the meal one needs not to look any further than the foot of the cross where the root of your salvation is planted deep within the event that brought man and God back into relationship, which is the one time sacrifice of his son Jesus. The constant unveiling of freedom that lies in his grace and mercy shall bring forth the maturity so desired. Dig into his word. Allow the Holy Spirit to reveal fresh revelations that bring forth your love for Christ and passion for those still held firm under condemnation even after coming to salvation. The truth most be told, others freedom depend on your knowledge of the true saving power of Christ. Anything less than Christ being revealed through serving others is not Christ at all, but a form of Godliness without the power.
