"My heart is overflowing with a good theme;
my tongue is the pen of a ready writer."

God doesn't withold,
any good from me,
when I obey and trust,
His blessings shower,
my heart does see.

I often take pen,
to paper and show,
words and thoughts,
of praise and joy,
my heart does flow.

Empty pages I fill,
to remember my time,
moments to treasure,
more happy than sorrow,
my heart's language is rhyme.

I love to share,
and see other's smile,
it gives such delight,
for it is my gift,
my heart's own style.

I will happily tell,
of all God's done,
the past revealed,
the future yet to be,
my heart's journey begun.

It is my prayer,
to give God glory,
He is my redeemer,
and this I know is,
my heart's story.
