The Christmas star will lead me
To where I am destined to go.
It will guide my footsteps to the place
Where I am supposed to be.

As I reach the fateful destination
The Star above me will shine.
It will stop right atop the midnight sky
Lending light to my path.

As I behold the scene in front of me
I take in the simplicity of love.
The King of kings before my gaze
The Lord of lords to worship in awe.

I can hardly contain my joy
My heart sings in exultation.
Choirs of angels join in from above
What is written has happened at the appointed time.

The Prophecy of love so true
An endless waiting has come to an end.
What was handed down through the years
Fulfilled at last at Christmas time.
