WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT
Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). When someone weeps it is a sign that they are going through a tough time of their lives, usually something that they really do not wish to take place in their lives. These is just a time or season which will pass away sometime, it doesn’t matter how long it takes for the situation to dissipate, whether it is a void caused by a loved one who passed on, Jesus is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. It could be a broken relationship that went stale and someone just walked out of your life for no apparent reason for them to have left you; this is just night time and remember for every night there is a morning as well, your morning is just around the corner.
It does not matter whether a bird slept on a tree during a rainy night, when dawn comes it welcomes the day with singing melodies. Every morning you will not miss those sweet melodies from the birds. The pain and the darkness were just for a night. Is it weeping moment in your life? Your dawn is coming for you to start singing. The issue is for how long are you willing to extend your night time, your dawn will not come as long as it is still night time in your life. Begin to look through the window of your spirit; the signs of dawn must be visible on the horizon.
We have the God who is moved by our pain and He records our laments and lists our tears on His books for a record (Psalm 56:8). For every tear that you shed God has taken it into account not to mock you or reprimand you, but to comfort you and to give you a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair (Isaiah 61:2-3). In whatever situation that has caused you to walk with your face to the ground I speak dawn to you. Dawn is time for a testimony, no more shall you weep again; it is testimony time.
May the good Lord give you peace and joy that surpasses all understanding for the rest of your life. See you on the next discussion.
