You're there, perched like a white dove,
in a large oak tree watching over
Your children as we walk in Your light.
You pick us up when we stumble and fall,
give us strength to get up
and to stand proud and tall.

When troubles get too hard to bear
You creep up and stand beside us,
letting us know You're there.
You fill our hearts with peace and love,
often give us a tiny nudge.

To open our hearts and let love in,
learn to forgive and to be a friend.
Let others see us, for who we are,
full of Your spirit and love for all.
When we take Your righteous hand,
we walk our lives with a different plan.
