Lord, light my way; please lead me on
Guide and direct me from daylight till dawn.
On my own, I always stumble and fall
Strengthen my spirit; let me heed your call.

Lord, light my way; keep me ever near
Open spiritual ears; that allow me to hear,
That still small voice as you show me the way
Bless me with mercy and grace every day.

Lord, light my way; please hear my plea
Help me to endure; for my strength is in Thee.
When I grow weary and have done all that I can
Give me your strength; just help me to stand.

Lord, light my way; guide me down the right road
Help me as I struggle; help me carry my load.
I know you will not give me more than I can bear
But sometimes it seems I have more than my share.

Lord, light my way; help me live my life right
Forgive my imperfections; keep me holy in your sight.
Let my life be an example for others to see
May it lead them to you, so they too can be free.

Lord, light my way; draw me closer to you
Help me do your will until my days become few.
When my life has ended and I toil here no more
Give me blessed assurance that I have Heaven in store.
