My soul cries out in distress,
As I continue to sin in this human skin.
I desire to do Your will
Fully pleasing You
But I still do the things I hate.
If only I can make things straight,
I wish I can undo.
The hurt I cause
Not only me, but You.

I’m over whelmed with shame
And want to end this war game.
But it seems to never end,
I have no hope.
I don’t know how to cope
With all this shame I claim.
Please take away the pain

I hate the things I do!

My soul cries out, forgive me.
Listen to my plea
I desire to do Your will.
Fully pleasing You,
My heart breaks with sorrow
As I truly want to follow.
My God that gives grace,
You have made a way
To replace
All my shame and sin.

You sent Your only Son for me
And is sitting at Your right hand.
Now I understand
It’s the blood for Christ
That makes me white as snow
And I can truly feel
Your love overflow.


My soul cries out, My Savoir
I desire to do Your will
Fully pleasing You.


For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:17-18
