NEW LIFE LESSONS BSFBP: “It’s a Celebration!” Esther 2:1-7
1 After these things, when the wrath of king Ahasuerus was appeased , he remembered Vashti,and what she had done , and what was decreed against her. 2 Then said the king's servants thatministered unto him, Let there be fair young virgins sought for the king: 3 And let the king appointofficers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the fair young virginsunto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women, unto the custody of Hege the king'schamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification be given them: 4 And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he did so . 5 Now in Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite; 6 Who had been carried away fromJerusalem with the captivity which had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away . 7 And he brought up Hadassah, that is,Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair andbeautiful ; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.

7) What was Hadassah’s Persian name (v.7)?
8) How is Esther described (v.7)?
APPLICATION QUESTIONS:
1) Have you ever made a decision that you later regretted? Why did you regret it?
2) Have you ever been, or are you currently, in a situation that resulted from someone else’s poor decision(s)? What happened?
3) Who has God brought into your life to raise you up in the Lord?
LIFE LESSONS:
1) The Lord brings people into our lives that will enable us to reach our divine destiny.
2) The Lord blesses us with the qualities, gifts, and skills needed to fulfill our destiny.
3) What our enemies mean for evil, the Lord turns around for our good and His glory.
