One of the most amazing things we have as Christians is the gift of the Holy Spirit. Once we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, we get to receive the Holy Spirit into our human spirits right at the time we accept Jesus. It occurs right then and there, not sometime later.

And as a result of now having the Holy Spirit residing on the inside of us, He wants to do several powerful things with us. In addition to convicting us and sanctifying us, He also wants to be our Guide and Teacher in this life. The two verses I will give you below will tell you that the Holy Spirit wants to teach us all things and guide us into all truth. For related article, see healing verses.

Just think of the ramifications of these two statements. The Holy Spirit is God and Lord Himself and is the 3rd Person in the Divine Trinity. We literally have His help available to us in this life on whatever we will need His help on.

Notice the key words that the Holy Spirit will teach us "all" things and guide us into "all" truth. This means the Holy Spirit can help across the entire board of our life if we keep ourselves open to being lead and taught by Him. Not only can the Holy Spirit Help you with Scripture and being able to understand it, but He can also help you with any type of personal problems you may be having.

Here are these two very powerful verses from our Bible showing us that the Holy Spirt has this kind of personal ministry with all of us.

1. “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, HE WILL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, and bring to your remembrance all things that I have said to you.” (John 14:26)

2. “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH …” (JOHN 16:13)

I do not think many people have a real grasp and a real understanding of what we now have on the inside of us as a result of accepting Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior.

If you are a Christian and you were not aware of what we have from the Holy Spirit, just ask Him to become much more active in your life. Tell Him that He now has a solid green light from you to start guiding you and teaching you in this life in any manner and in any way that He will want to use.

Once you open yourself up to His personal ministry for your life, your life will never be the same again.
