Sunday 11/13/11 Rev. Elders Sermon= Caution: I’m Under Construction Phil 1:1-11

Vs 6 He who has begun a good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ!! God is up to something BIG in our life!

Never let our circumstances keep us down. God is not through with us yet! God is cleaning up what we messed up. God is up to something so we should still have joy in spite of what we are going thru. Our trials build character in us and build up our faith. God will leave us in our mess till we learn the lesson then He picks us up and elevates us.

On highways, we see signs that say caution: there is construction.
We need to tell people around us to be careful how they talk to us cause God is working on us and we may need to pray for them. God is going to work the circumstances in our life to make us humble first. Don’t get discouraged cause God is setting us up for a blessing! As soon as we learn the lesson God wants us to learn, then He will elevate us.

We are under construction. God is going to bring it to pass and our ending will be far greater than our beginning. No matter how bad the situation is, God is Greater than anything and he will bring us out. God can and will deliver us!! Paul wrote this letter while he was in prison! He thought about others and prayed for others. We need to pray for others while we are going thru and are still in our construction. Praise God anyhow!!

**To Come Out of Our Problem and Have Joy:

1. Thank God for other people’s blessing. Praise God for the blessings He has given other folk and pray for them.

2. Realize that our trials give us great testimonies to tell others. Our faith and praise and faith that God is with us is what we should have. We used to bus it to church but now God has given us a car. We BETTER take ourselves to Church!

3. Know that God started a good work in us and He will finish it. God will not leave it undone. God is not through with us yet! We are still under construction!
