Healing of the Mind

I remember when I used to lift weights in my younger days.
Each week I would add another pound or two to the bar.
A few months later, I could not believe how big and strong I had gotten.
Always in the mirror, I was so proud because I worked hard and sacrificed a lot of time to achieve my goal.
One day I noticed that I was fooling myself.
I wasted a lot of time living in the past.
It caused me the time I needed to progress in other things in life.
I know that things happen, but I’ve realized I don’t live with them for the rest of my life.
It’s like I threw my problems away and went right back in the trash and retrieved them.
The more I went back, the heavier my bar (brain) became.
What I did not do was “LET GO”.
The only person that could bring them back was me.
What did it do for me, Nothing!!
The problems were gone, but I kept bringing them back.
How much weight are you carrying and when will you Let It Go?
All of us have enough things that happen in our lives to carry.
Let It Go—your mind is asking you too.
Heal your mind and your body will rest.
