THERE SHALL BE A PERFORMANCE!

And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. Luke 1:45;

Like pregnancy, the breakthrough of every man has gestation period. From the very first day God makes a promise concerning your life, His word had already brought about conception of your breakthroughs and miracles. God’s word is eternally potent and has the ability to cause conception of anything we believe Him for since all things were created through His word. However, from the point of conception up to the time of delivery, many things are involved. For our much expected breakthroughs to come to manifestation, we must fulfill certain conditions in order to migrate from the realm of promise to that of performance.


A lot of people have stayed very long in the valley of promise not because that’s God’s desire for them, but because they have lost faith in His word. Doubt is a very grievous sin; anybody who doubts or disbeliefs God’s word is simply calling Him a liar! If the promises of God are not being fulfilled in your life, it is not God’s fault in any way. Doubts, unbelief and disobedience can cause abortion of God’s promises in a man’s life. As long as a man is faithless, he will remain in the valley of promise, promises upon promises but no fulfillment! If you have lost confidence in God’s word and promises, you must renew your faith immediately in order to facilitate performance. It is not the will of God that we tarry unnecessarily or die in the valley of promise, His utmost desire is to bring us to the land of performance.


Faith is the key force that will pull you out of the valley of promises and translate you to the realm of performance. Faith is a powerful force that activates God’s promises and brings them to fulfillment. There is no barrier in life that can withstand the divine force of faith, that is why you must take steps of faith to experience performance of God’s glorious promises. Faith is action! For instance, if you truly believe in your heart as God declares in His word that you are not barren, begin to act like a mother! Give names to your babies and have people address you as mummy so and so! Make baby cots, buy baby dresses and carriers! If you are believing God for a job, never sit down as a jobless person, stand up and get going, train yourself and position yourself very well to meet people that matter in the corporate world. If you are trusting God for a marriage partner, start to buy your wedding stuffs, pick a date for your wedding, get up and throw yourself into the service of God. You don’t need to scheme things out on your own but let God work on your life to prepare you for the right partner. When you are taking the steps of faith people may not understand what you are doing, they may think you are crazy, but just ignore them because faith is the language of God, heaven understands the language of faith.


In addition to taking steps of faith, another secret you must understand to move to the realm of performance is the secret of the appointed time. God’s program for your life is specific; He makes all things to work together for your good as the appointed time for performance of His word and promises in your life approaches. I am persuaded in my spirit that this month will mark the appointed time for some people. This month is your appointed time for glorious change; this month is your appointed time for promotion; this month is your appointed time for favour; this month is the appointed time for your major financial breakthroughs, this is the month of your performance!


Dearly beloved, you have dwelt long enough in the valley of promise, it is time for you to move to the realm of performance. God is faithful and eternally committed to His word, hold unto Him in unfailing faith and positive confessions. With faith in God, the condition of your heart is bound to change: celebration will replace frustration; joy will replace sorrow; praise will replace complaints; cheerful face will replace moody look; excitement will replace discouragement. Stand up and begin to rejoice, this is your season of performance.
