This Also Shall Pass Away.
In life,troubles,trials and tribulations come in series and sometimes one after the other.This prompted a writer to conclude that "In life,we create a new problem to solve an existing one."
Each of your troubles has a period that it will lapse.Meaning that,your present trial has a life span.You may not know how loog,but it has an expiry date.Your Creat or knows this.
You must have had some tribulations in the past that are no longer with you.If those past ones are no longer here with with you,be assured that the present ones will also pass away like their predecessors.As a Christian,Christ does not leave you in the dark as He says in John 16:33,
"These things I have spoken to you,that in Me you may have peace.In the world you will have tribulation;but be of good cheer,I have overcome the world."
No matter what situation you are in now,Jesus assures you that you can be cheerful because in Him you have your peace.Your tribulation can not displace the peace of Christ if you remain in Him.
Be strong in faith.Therefore,say like Apostle Paul, in Romans 8;35,37,
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation,or distress,or persecution,or famine,or nakedness,or peril,or sword?
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us."
Please,the greater the turbulence you are in becomes,the closer to Christ you must be,the deeper and stronger your faith must become.
"Why all these troubles?",you may ask.Do not be amazed to read that the trial you are in will do some positive works in you.This means,you will come out of it a better person.
Apostle Paul has this to say in Romans 5:3-4,
"And not only that,but we also glory in tribulations knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;and perseverance,character,and character,hope."As your tribulation is busy doing positive works in your life,you must equip yourself with these weapons of every believer as contained in Romans 12:12-14,
"...rejoicing in hope,patient in tribulation,continuing steadfastly in prayer;distributing to the needs of the saints,given to hospitality."
These unfailing weapons will not only see you through but will also give give you sure victory and spoils.May God give you the grace to use them effectively and efficiently in Jesus Name.
May you be comforted on all sides that you may be able to say at the end,
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,who comforts us in all our tribulation,that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble,with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
