So many of cries, still go unanswered
And dare we inquire what's hidden inside
so many questions that go unheard
and think it's better to let it slide

In the rooms of the heart lies many a hurts
some had come over from the past
They hovel and circle each and night
one wonders how long will they last

Much abuse resides in the dark room
many a tears have fell unseen
And one can't help, but to wonder why
their sorrows hasn't been redeemed

There are so many forms of abuse
that comes in race, creed, color, or age
In adults, teens, old and young children
and it's no telling how long the page

If only someone would be concerned
and if only someone would care
O' God of mercy so full of compassion
please stop by and let them now your there

So although I can't enter, their dark rooms
or even stop by to wipe the tears
But my heart can pray that God would visit
so he can tend to all their fears

I pray that God will speed the answer
and bring a calmeness deep within
And whatever hurt and abuse they suffered
his divine intervention will surly rescind
