WHAT CONVINCED YOU THERE IS A GOD?

Just today somebody asked me, “What convinced you there is a God?” Here is my response –

Every area of science that I know – Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Astronomy have made great discoveries displaying “Order and Intelligence” beyond human imagination and this convinces me God exists.

Simple things all around me that I see, hear or feel convince me there is a God.

Ultimately, Justice demands it; History records it; Miracles prove it; all life on earth displays it and the Bible says the Heavens declare it!

Silently, inside of my heart, the Holy Spirit, who long ago transformed my life, bears witness to it.

It is through faith that I know it and by revelation that I receive it. Through answered prayer God proves it and in worship I have felt it.

Such times when I sin He corrects me and when I humble myself He lifts me up. If I run from Him he seeks me out and when I run after Him He rewards me.

Gladly, I know, that I know, that I know there is a God. He spells His name J E S U S. What really convinced me was when I read how He patiently endured horrible sufferings on a Roman cross for my sins. Read Matthew ch 27

Often we are too busy in life to stop and take notice of God. So opening your eyes is what this message is all about. (Hint - underline the first letter of each sentance and see what you have missed.)

Dang! In closing, I definitely, absolutely and positively know there is a God. How?
Because I complained to Him this morning when He woke me up at 4 a.m. to write this article!
