I am on a journey, through life.
The way has sweet joys and strife.
But whatever be the scene I am in,
My Lord and I will win.

Sunrise and sunset spinning the purest of gold,
Warming the heart with love untold.
Yet all love is but a grasping of the wind,
Futile if Jesus were not my friend.

The course may be long, smooth or rough,
But the Master knows when it’s enough.
To everything a time and place appointed,
Designated the timetable for his anointed.

As the winds grow colder and the night grows darker,
When the heart grows faint and weaker,
When it plunges into a tunnel dark and deep,
Anguish and fear in the soul doth seep.

But the Father knows in His great plan,
The valley of weeping is necessary for man.
To grow a little more like Jesus everyday,
To shine His love in everything we do, think or even say.

To walk victorious in Christ,
We ought to remember the price.
Live life in humility and not disguise.
Remembering for our sins, Christ did die.
