Oh Lord I have a humble plea,
That Your will should overshadow mine.
Walking as two who do agree,
Not in my will, oh Lord, but now in thine.

May Your thoughts just permeate my mind?
Till we begin to truly think as one.
And those things that please You may I find,
Walking in the truth of Your Son.

May Your desires become my very own?
Teach me to walk in harmony.
May Your wishes to me become full-blown?
As the passion of Your heart I now can see.

Finally may I pray like Jesus Did?
That through Him we all become as one.
Not our will but Yours now be reflected,
As we walk in the true light of the Son.

A light’s now shining as brightly as the sun,
In its presence darkness has to flee.
As He draws us all together into one,
That the world in us, His glory they may see.

Now the world becomes so brightly lit,
Set aglow with love that’s so divine.
As together we are one, in His Spirit,
Praying not our will O Lord, but truly thine.

(Amos 3:3—Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?)

(John 17:21—“that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. (22) “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one; (23) “I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”)
