A few tidbits dropped, and landed in my lap
and before my eyes they made me see
People have a right their opinions, wrong or right
and that I should leave them be

Who gets to know about God, all in one night
for it's a process we have to go through
You may not lick that test, the first few tries
but, just be grateful that he knows you

Even David, God's anointed, had some problems
and kept them, before, the Lord God
For he knew the word would bring him through
because, he had it hidden, on inside

You see we may be wrong in a innocent way
and the heart hasn't grapsed it yet
But, if we keep on fighting, one day we'll say
those requirements, my soul has met

It takes understanding as well as knowledge
for they both work hand in hand
And God is the one who releases the wisdom
so, heart know, that, He's the Man!

We can be thankful that God will wait for us
and He will deal with us His way
Yes! Chastisement is God" for this soul of mine
and I thank His grace, on me another day
