At a sermon
A member of presbytery wonders
Why the sermon runs so slowly
Why should we ask silly questions?
The sermon is always started on time
With a verse of hymn and prayer
But it is closed in time
As happens tonight
He wonders to go home soon
Because tomorrow morning
Must be back to his routines
Suddenly
His mobile phone moves
An sms-short message appears
from his youngest child
It says like this:
“Hallo my dear papa
Where are you now?
It is 10.30 PM
Please go home soon
Be careful”
The man answers:
“Yes, darling. I will be back soon”
