one night i walked with a friend and god. we walked like robots on the cold pavement and we couldnt see a thing. the street lights guided us like lanterns through autumn winds. I felt the blast of air against my chest, it felt robotic. on we went like tin tan men observiing the sleeping peoples of this earth. so silent. just the gusts of the wind. we prayed for good tidings and trusted that they would come. we suddenly realized the sky existed and looked up so flabergasted we just stood there for minutes and stared. the clouds were flowing like cotton candy, the moon was by itself shining down with a star near it. we kept walking like soldiers my feet felt illl yet i could keep going, i was blessed, my friend had no trouble at all tromping through the night. such beauty. we came to a curve and it seemed we might be lost. our minds were so different that night we couldnt make head nor tail of the street lights but we trusted god to guide our footsteps and so we went through the brashing flowing emerald oak trees swaying in the wind. Out to the road we had found it. Now it was the time for celebration. we kept walking into incredible darkness still in awe, like new born children seeing the moon. On we tromped to the steps of my house where we sat at a picnic table and retrospected the entire journey and thanked god for walking with us that night.
