The Lord lives blessed be my rock,
Oh how exalted is His name;
Who is with me while I walk,
As I continually proclaim.

May the rock of my salvation,
Be both worshiped and glorified;
For my faith as my foundation,
His Holy name is magnified,

The Lord executes His vengeance,
As my enemies are brought down;
With angels as His contingents,
Will be causing my foes to drown.

God lifts me up and rescues me,
From those who wish to do me harm;
As He gives the foresight to see.
Nearing a forthcoming alarm.

That is why I have thanks to give,
While making music to praise;
For the Lord is reason to live,
And is why my voice I will raise.

The victories go to the King,
As I remain meek and mild;
For it is to His cross I cling,
Because of being His child.

He shows mercy to His chosen,
From a line that will not sever;
And each word that He has spoken,
Says I am His kin forever.
