DIVINE SOLUTION

This divine solution has brought a restful calm.
I will meditate on David’s refreshing Psalm,
Indeed in Gilead is a soothing balm.
My name is written on God’s Mighty Palm.

I’ve ceased trusting the arm of flesh.
The words and promises of God do refresh.
To bring out the best in me he’d thresh.
If I have missed it, of course I can start afresh.

His loving kindness I will always remember.
I’ll join my brethren and celebrate advent in December.
I’ve received His embrace cooler than cucumber.
Restored to me are the days of ‘un-medicated’ slumber.
