BEAUTIFUL
GOD’S CREATION

In the twilight
Both of us passed around the Kuta 1) beach
From Popies to Legian Seminyak 2)
On a two wheeled horse – drawn carriage

In the midnight
The moon was shining
We walked hand in hand on Kuta beach
Waves shouting
As a sound of explosion
As if saying
Welcome to paradise Kuta beach
Under the shady coconut tree

Very early in the morning
We stepped on the beach with bare feet
Hundred of pathway were created
On a white sand of Kuta beach
Together with unknown people
from many part of the world
Oh what a beautiful
Both of us, as a married couple
Look like the young lovers
We forget our daily life’s problem in Jakarta
We enjoyed the beauty of God’s creation
Happily and full of joy
In the island of Dewata 3)
As we have dreamt for more than a decade

3) Dewata is also common call for Bali
