Rare gems are hard to find.
Loyal friends harder still.
But, I have found in you, my true and loyal friend
The most precious gem.

A true friend reaches out across the miles
To touch your heart and soul.
A loyal friend stands by your side
And understands your joy and pain.

I thank you, my dear friend
For the most precious gift of your friendship.
I hope, I have returned the same to you
In the time that we have known each other.

I want you to know that you have a friend
Who will be with you through the years to come.
Though far apart, distance is no barrier.

I look forward to the sunset of my life.
Where, I can share all my life’s trials and joys with you.
The happiness of the years gone by
Our achievements and success.

You have stood out among the rest
Since you have always been the best!
Thanks for being a Friend for life.
