Saint Michael passed by,
uttering a sigh;
'If only they knew!"
While Saint Gabriel,
was calling for help
from more than a few.
Saint Raphael stared
at misguided prayer, thinking
'What shall I do?"
While the Heavenly Hosts
lay their heads in repose,
to rest, as they do.

The man in the chair said;
'It's time for prayer,
but none of them do!
They're reckless with want,
the baptism font
is drying up too.'

'Once a Holy place,
now lays in disgrace
through their child abuse.
They espouse a creed,
but they're full of disease,
this is nothing new.'

'How can we instill
our trust in the people
who now fill the fields?
The rivers and oceans
reflect their emotion
of pain, which is real'.

So, while it was light,
the forces of might
came up with this rule;
'We say every child,
somewhat meek, others wild,
to thine own self be true!

From Adam to Christ,
they all paid a price,
believing in truth.
Begotten by gain,
for God's love remains
inside all of you.

So, don't be concerned,
there's much to be learned
by trusting yourself.
By sheer common sense,
there's no use pretending
to be someone else."
