Her eyes ask
for understanding and
wonder if I will stay

Her hands reveal
years of work
and caring for others

Her listening to my dreams
fill me with hope
and encouragement

Yes, my mother means
the world to me
This is my psalm to her

May you be blessed
with knowing you
are precious in God's eyes

May you know
you are loved
and God's master piece
