So many times when the children were small
A kiss and hug could fix it all.
I'd hold them a moment; say "All better now!"
But they are all grown up and I don't know how
To make it all better like I used to do.
Cookies and kisses won't carry them through.
So I ask my God to watch over their lives,
And trust that He knows what they need to survive.
He will guide them and keep them; and He knows how
To say those sweet words "All better now!"


As our children grow up and leave to go out on their own, it hurts when we have to watch them go through tough places. God can keep them! He loves them even more than we do and He has a plan for their lives. Just trust Him! He is so faithful!
