Faith

Commencing my search,
the deeper I travel,
questions I ask,
answers unravel.
Some to my liking,
some disbelief,
having held joy,
having felt grief.
And yet, my imaginings,
truths I perceive,
they suit me well
as I proceed.
Second to minute,
hour to day.
Memories fleeting,
yet look!
Here I stay.
So, who has made God?
This mystery
has to make sense,
little I see.
Is God is a myth,
a tale well told?
If so, who am I?
Seeker of old.
Should God be real,
hope becomes honest.
Saints are my ancestors,
living His promise.
Love becomes tangible,
feelings are true.
God is alive,
through me, also you.
