Evening Stalker
7/11/11
They lurk within the darkness
The shadow laden ground
Dark and light do coincide
Where the moon has crowned
Prancing, pouncing, sneaking
Under bushes and in the trees
Mysterious playful stalkers
Will linger where they please.
Not knowing you are followed
The silhouette attacks
Startled as you may be
It’s just the neighbor’s cats
