O' Prophets of these times, don't look to be loved
for your service has already been paid
By the almighty God who does see and know
all that which has been set up and laid

Arise and come out, the caves and dens
it is now time to take your place
Take off the binders, set your eyes like flint
for the things you are about to face

Cry loud and lift up your voice like a trumpet
don't be afraid to speak against sin
Fear not their words, nor even their faces
for we're living to the close of the end

Compromise with no one keep the oracles of God
for when he speaks none can, reverse it
Be not afraid for he is on your side
and there on the throne, he does still sit

Now the eyes of the blind will be opended
and the sick and the lame wiil walk
The crooked places will be made straight
when our God begins to talk

The dry deserted places will be watered
and your children will be fed
The poor, rejected and despised, he'll smile on
all of this in his word I've read

This truly is the times, for his true prophets
this endowed, inspiration, is so
And I hold it in my heart, so it won't depart
and there be others they too will know
