Refuse to step into
the quick sand of sorrow.

Dancing barefoot
to the music within.

All that we are,
is all we can be.
You being you,
and me being me.
Step away from the crowd
look to the soul.
With courage and will,
each find their goal.

Wear your best smile,
push away tears.
Be brave and bold
dust off all fears.
When life sends you lemons
go make lemonade.
Serve it to all
who still need the parade.
