Once upon a time there where two similar seeds that belonged to a fruit farmer. The owner went out to a local nursery to consult on what type of seeds these were. There, he was advised that they were both citrus seeds, but the attendant would not ascertain which type of the seed each exactly was.

In the first few weeks of hard labour watering and nursing the young trees, they still did not pose any differences. The farmer still could not ascertain which citrus tree each of the seeds would grow into. He himself wanted them to be orange trees, so he waited.

After a year, both trees would give a shade big enough for the farmer to lodge under. Half the time he would sit under the one, and the other half under the other. Time to produce fruits came, and the flowers started popping out.

His neihbours asked what he would do if he found out that the tress where not orange trees. He said "you shall see!". The little fruits began to be visible and as they grew larger, it became visible that there were sparking differences between the two fruits. The one had stretched fruit which where ovaloid with bumpy skin. The other was perfectly spherical, with a smoother skin however pored as the other.

At this point, the farmer became very cautious as to what he would do with each of the tree. The shade he took from both, the watering he did for both, the pruning he did for both; yet when it came to the fruit, he waited!

On a particular day, one of the trees' fruits turned as yellow as a lemon fruit, the shape, size and smell was certainly that of a lemon fruit. The farmer realised that this was a lemon tree and did not want anything to do with it; he forsook the shade and the watering and left the tree to dry down. One of the years, the tree, being dry, caught up a veld fire and it died out instantly.

The other tree, which never showed signs of it being a lemon, kept receiving the attention of the farmer. He noted the first fruits and saw that they were orange fruits. Together, they lived happily ever after! In Jesus Christ name, Amen!
