Bombarding Heaven with Prayer
The Church has a call. The Church has a work to do and the Church need to bombard Heaven with Prayer. Bombarding means we are basking in the oil of the Spirit and the Spirit is getting the job done for us as it did in heaven.
Prayer we say is talking to God. It is an earnest appeal or supplication. We request aid or comfort in prayers. We appeal to God to be looked on favorably, and we rehearse our plea over and over again until something happens. We need God for our strength, aid and support for He is our Higher Power. We make our supplication to God and we do it humbly through an earnest request. Paul in Philippians 4:6-8 teaches us how we ought to go before God in prayer.
Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
What things? Those things which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do; and the God of peace shall be with you.
Prayer we say all the time changes things. We say we pray but what are we praying? Is our prayer worthy to be uttered? Are our prayers reaching the ears of God? Or is it a prayer that says hello, goodbye and thank you Lord? Jesus told us to watch and pray in Matthew 26:41. His Disciples fell asleep, they did not watch and pray as Jesus had instructed. We aren’t on our watch as we should be in the earth also. We are sleeping through the revolution in this generation of deadly sin for which judgment is death as never before. This says that the Church is not on its watch. We are the Church, the Temple of the Holy Ghost that have lost its vigor to pray out of ourselves until the Holy Ghost takes the reign.
I dare to say we have stop seeking for the more of God. Our ears have become accustomed to hearing garbage. God’s Word is falling among thorns. We hear the Word but because we fail to pray, the Spirit of God in us, the Holy Ghost; is not breathing on the Word anymore. The thorns have choked the Word we first heard and accepted. We care about riches and pleasures of this life and bring no fruit to perfection. We are just like the people Jesus talked about in Matthew 24:38 for as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the Ark and they knew not that the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the son of man be.
People we are blinded by false religion, false Apostles, false Prophets, and the Pastors, Teachers and Evangelists are not far behind them. They too have followed the way of the false to be known in the land rather than be known in heaven. If it hurts, pinch yourself and repent, get ready to get on the right track. We can see all the glamour lying brings, but what about the wisdom we need to see concerning the spirits operating in that lifestyle? Jesus said in Matthew 24:46 blessed is that servant whom his lord when he cometh, shall find so doing. Can we perceive and see not and hearing they may hear and not understand unless they have been converted and their sin forgiven them. We are to give our all to God and understand there is nothing from within a man that entering into him can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. When man doesn’t take in a daily dose of the Word, they starve the Holy Ghost. When the Holy Ghost is starved then a prayer life is stagnated and don’t emit out of our mouths. What’s in us more will come out when we speaks.
Not only does God want us to watch and pray he need a voice in the earth; he needs a body to perform in the flesh what He needs done in the earth. He don’t come and invade our will, we must be willing to allow God to use us. We also need to be obedient to His Word, Will, and Way. Jesus came and said He was the way, the truth and the life. He took on a body of flesh to show man that we can live Godly and holy in the earth. We can walk in the light.
