BEWARE OF THEM

As a born-again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and living among a predominantly Muslim community along the Kenyan coast, I had a nasty experience in the room I rented recently and was left baffled at that religion.

It all started with weird dreams in my sleep and a strange voice monitoring all my activities and vilifying me everywhere I went- in the room, on the road and at work. I found the whole thing quite troubling and on enquiring from colleagues who are natives at the coast, was told that I had been placed under the surveillance of some devilish Islamic network to chase me out of the house. The reason given was that I had publicly expressed displeasure at the immoral behaviour of the ladies who were my neighbours and had just moved into the house and found me staying quietly and peacefully.

The landlord was apparently irritated by my attitude towards the women and decided to secretly evict me by using forces of darkness. After realising that evil forces were assaulting me, I got serious in my devotions and even invited my church pastor for special prayers. I took this action because I was battling spiritual forces. There was a temporary cessation in the attacks but a few days later, the hovering voice was back again and I was advised to leave the house immediately. I complied and left because it is believed that muslims fortify their houses with evil forces with the intention of disturbing Christians and intimidating them into silence.

The terrifying incident awakened my curiosity in their object of worship and I began searching scripture on the possible origins of the Mohammedans. The first text that I stumbled upon was Genesis16:12 where God declared that Ishmael, the son of Abraham through Hagar, the outlawed woman, would always be wild and an enemy of the rest of the people. I also realised that the lineage of Ishmael is continued through Esau, the rejected son of Isaac--Genesis28:8,9. The man Esau is also known to have married many wives contrary to God's will (Genesis36) and one of his grand- sons is called Omar.

I realised that Muslims draw their descent from Ishmael and practise abominable things such as those recorded in Deuteronomy18:10-14, which include divination and consulting familiar spirits, that are strictly forbidden by the true God. The Secret things belong to Him because He is the Sovereign Lord of Heaven and Earth-Deuteronomy29:29; Isaiah8:19,20.

I have also observed that many Christians living among muslims lead compromised lives and hardly attend church, read the Bible or witness for Christ. They get absorbed into the frivolity of the local people and live in rebellion against the Lord Jesus Christ. I have therefore come to the conclusion that the fallen angel (Lucifer) seems to be the driving force behind the the religion of Islam and the Bible declares that he shall be brought down to hell at God's appointed time-Isaiah14:12-16. It is only through the Lord Jesus Christ that there ifs forgiveness of sin, peace and the salvation of our souls--Acts4:12; Galatians4:21-31.
