Weather Change

LeAndrea and Jameson went out to play.
Because, it was
a beautiful day.

A shinning sun was in the sky.
LeAndrea threw a ball
It went so high.

Jameson played in the dirt.
With a pail and a shovel,
He dug for Bert.

Bert is a worm, he wants to see.
But now he’s underground,
near the roots of a tree.

So Jameson digs and calls his name,
But he won’t catch him,
Oh, what a shame.

LeAndrea looked up,
To watch her ball.
When a cloud came over
And covered all.

The sky got dark, and it began to rain.
LeAndrea screamed,
“Oh, What a pain!”

They ran inside, for a place to hide.
The weather changed.
Did the weatherman lie?

Maybe a mistake, and not just a lie.
But it’s raining like mad,
And that brings a sigh.
Ohhh!!
